Chandler to be honest was quite an avid reader, she loved books and could hardly get enough of them. If she wasn't working on some form of school work, hanging out with one of her few friends, or working on her ability she could often be found with a nose in her book. Because of this some might classify her as a nerd though in truth she really wasn't. She just had a passion for reading and it was nothing more than that. Lucky for her she wasn't a speed-reader or she would have spent much more money on books. There were few books (mostly classics) that she could read more than once or twice without finding herself to be extremely bored. Of course, those books she had just finished up reading leaving her out of good, fresh material.
Which meant in all honesty that Chandler was not the most entertained girl in the planet. You might imagine that as beautiful as the young lady was that she'd have a boyfriend or be more popular than she was, thus was not the case. So she had decided to go out and venture into the town, she knew it well enough having lived in Grapevine, a town over. So she had grabbed her purse in case she decided to go over to the square and her sunglasses to protect her eyes before heading out to the town's park. This was an easy thing to do and it was somewhat crowded for a Sunday afternoon. Being alone she was quiet and usually shy, one to blush. So she had situated herself under the shade of a tree to relax, and enjoy the scenery.

Going out into the city didn't sound like such a bad idea today, Kyron never seemed to have plans on a sunday afternoon. After looking for Sam around the school for a bit and not having any luck, he made up his mind about going out. Kyron never took long to get ready, after taking a shower and getting dressed, he left. He hadn't been off the school grounds in almost a week, it felt refreshing to leave for a little bit. The park came into sight as he continued to walk without a destination and he thought he recognized someone there, so off he went. Chandler...Chandler Loiner that was the person he saw.
"Hey, want company?" Kyron asked as he approached and sat down next to her. He always knew this girl to be shy, not only around him but around pretty much everyone. It was weird how shy girls attracted Kyron, and Chandler was know different. Kyron didn't know for sure whether she was going to reject his request or accept it but we all know what his EGO told him.
Kyron didn't no much about her except for that she was the only pretty girl that he had ever seen that didn't have ALOT of friends, she was really shy and that he and her had the same ability. He had been trying to befriend her for a little while now and couldn't help but know that he was coming really close to accomplishing that goal. "Feel free to reject." Kyron said with one of his oh so charming smiles.

It was tempting to just walk down to the town square and pick up a book, it was only a short distance down 1709. She needed some new material and the whole enjoying the scenery wasn't really working out for her. Chandler was normally a fairly patient person with people at least, though just sitting there pondering her thoughts wasn't working out the greatest at the moment. She sat cross-legged, glad she was wearing shorts instead of the skirt that she had originally planned on wearing today. She tucked back a strand of brown hair with a gentle sigh, debating what to do with herself for the moment. She jumped though slightly when she heard a voice in a close proximity.
Chandler angled her head toward the voice and relaxed slightly when she saw who it was - slightly being the key word. She was socially awkward with her friends, guys she didn't know that well were a whole other level. "Hi," her voice wasn't quite a squeak but it was pretty quiet. That was completely normal, though. She was always on the quiet side of things. "Uh, no, it's fine." She stuttered slightly, biting down on her bottom lip but smiling at him slightly. She of course knew Kyron somewhat well as they possessed the same talent and had chatted a handful or so of times. She did not know him too well, though she expected him to be the type that would have been flirting with more popular girls, not sitting and chatting with her.

Kyron didn't really think anything of it when she said it was fine for him to stay, he already knew deep down that she would allow him to hang with her anyway. It was weird seeing such a pretty girl alone like this, she looked like the type that's constantly surrounded by boys. "Cool, so what's up?" Kyron said. Chandler was also very soft spoken whenever she said something. Quiet, Socially Awkward, Shy and Sexy...a great combination in Kyron's perspective.
Kyron then laid back and placed his hand under his head as he watched the clouds float by. Kyron acted as if he knew the girl for years. "Hey, tell me something. How come you're so shy and quiet? I bet if you just socialize more and try to be more outgoing, you would make plenty friends...it helps that your really beautiful too." Kyron said.
It wasn't as though Kyron was deliberately trying to flirt, it was like second nature to him; but he was telling the truth. Kyron knew alot of his friends that liked Chandler, or well...would like to bone Chandler, but whatever. "Any boys you like at Walker's High?...or girls...I mean if that's your thing." Kyron asked, he was on a mission to get Chandler to open up to him.

"Nothing really, what about you?" Chandler said with a gentle shrug of her shoulders. She pushed the sunglasses out of her eyes and onto the top of the head, the sun wasn't near an angle where it was going to get in her eyes or bother her, quite the opposite for the moment being but she carried them with her regardless, just in case she stuck there longer than she thought. Which was always a possibility.
The question caught her by surprise and at the end caused her cheeks to turn a color resembling a rosy pink, embarrassed by the last comment. Chandler wasn't one that was too good with such things or used to. "I don't know... it's just easier I guess. Don't have to worry about drama or accidentally hurting someone. Stuff like that," she honestly had no idea how the hell she was supposed to answer a question like that. No one had ever asked her such a thing before and it was a bit of a confusing thing. "How come you choose to talk to me? You could be flirting with someone more popular or playing football or something." She answered back quietly, not wanting to be rude.
Her cheeks were no longer a faint pink but a bright red by the end of his next comment, embarrassed more much now. She wanted to just bury her head down into her knees and go into her own little la la land. "Well, even if I did wouldn't I tell another girl that...?" Honestly, society was a very confusing thing and it was hard to know what to expect. That wasn't something she had guessed would pop up in the conversation but apparently it had anyway. But at the moment she had her eye on no one, even if many of the boys (or was men more appropriate) at Walker's were very handsome, Kyron included naturally.
