Deep breaths, she thought as she tightened her grip on her bow, drawing back the bowstring with a sharp arrow in place. Sora could see the target, clear as her sight could possibly be, on the other side of the field. Gritting her teeth, she closed one of her eyes, aiming for a perfect score. It was still early in the morning, and she'd arrived in the training center not too long ago -- she needed to practice, and practice extremely often to finally achieve mastery in her skills and techniques. As a student, Sora was considered very studious; since her socialization skills were far below most others, she'd spend plenty of nights trying to perfect everything, study, read, etc. Her grades were rather high; and her wits followed in suit, sharpening to nearly as apical as a knife-edged arrowhead.
Inhaling deeply, Sora tried to focus. Counting in her head, she pulled the bowstring back a bit farther, calculating the distance, what it'd take to get the point to the target in her mind. "Too strong," she muttered, easing the bowstring back a bit. Finally, she decided, it was good. Releasing the bow, a quick motion from her now outreached hand sent a visible electric covering over the arrow's surface as it swiftly cut through the air. A pain in her chest told her she'd reached her extent, and the arrow's electric aura has disappeared before it hit the target.
An irritated sigh escaped her mouth, and she walked over to the target, her heels clicking against the cement. "Damn," Sora hissed to herself. "Only two seconds. Seven inches off." Pulling the arrow from its place, she held it in a clenched fist, her face pulled together in a frustrated expression.
