why wouldn't anyone like the art room? there angie used her powers to create the most beautiful water-color paintings. plus, she was creative. her powers just helped. taking a canvas under her shoulder, angelyn walked over to the most secluded stand near the corner of the room. she liked to be alone when she painted. plus, she hated the fact that some people thought she was cheating in art by using her powers. it wasn't her fault she could control water. besides, you need artistic talent to create a work of art not a manipulative talent. thus, she worked alone, grabbing a few water-logged paint cans and even some water cups some students failed to throw out. they still had paint-water in them and although most were an ugly color of brown, some still had traces of pretty colors in it like yellow and green. thus, angie decided to take them and possibly recycle the water that would have otherwise been thrown out.
grinning, angelyn began her little painting. unlike most water color artist, she used paint that was nearly drowned out by water. she just called it water-color cause it was basically colored water. thus, raising her hands, angie lifted the color blue, red and yellow. with that, she pulled her hands back and with a flick of her wrist, sent the paint flying toward the canvas. some droplets landed on her white apron, but she didn't mind. quick as ever, she swiftly controlled each color as they dripped across the canvas. smearing the red to the left, yellow to the right and blue southward, angie grinned at the results. this was another reason she loved art. it helped her practice her powers.
as the blue began to dry, angie lifted some more yellow and red. this time, she brought her hands together and twisted the two paint balls into a light shade of orange. nodding, she lashed the paint across the canvas between the red and yellow before mixing them as well. it was beginning to get harder for the paint was starting to dry. thus, angelyn picked up her pace. using a more water and a strange concoction of deep red a kid had created by dipping his paint brush into a cup of water, angie made a light pink and let it spread out above the yellow. however, instead of the water flowing down, angelyn used her powers to make the water-color flow up.
nodding once more, angie added splashes of white and a few dashes of black. grinning, she took a step back and looked at her creation. it was a beautiful sunset, complete with birds and fluffy white clouds. each color blended together into a flowing picture and with that, angie wiped her face, smearing a touch of black along her cheek in the process.

I'm in love with a fairytale even though it hurts 'Cause I don't care if I lose my mind I'm already cursed - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Kylie walked into the art room hoping to find some clay. She loved pottery especially since the clay came from the earth, sometimes if you inhaled the scent of it deeply you could smell the dirt in it. It wasn’t that she was a tomboy and liked to play in the mud and get dirty, but since manipulating earth was her power she was use to the scent it had. Kylie walked into the closet to get some clay to play with. Using her powers she cut herself a perfect amount of clay and took it to a table in the corner, before heading back to the closet for the paint and glaze. Once she was all set up she took a seat and started to mold the clay, with her hands and a little bit of her gift. Some people didn’t like the fact that she could use her gift to help her in art, but Kylie just supply thought of it as a bonus. She molded and patted, and used carved lines into the clay until she sculpted a perfect replica of a rose.
Smiling Kylie dipped her paint brush into the red paint, she carefully and diligently painted the rose, adding some lighter shades of red and pink to it, then some green to the bottom of it; she smirked as she hardened the clay a little bit. Kylie then added a light layer of glaze and sprinkled a smidge of glitter around the petals. She got up and walked around the table observing her work of art making sure it looked perfect before she put it in the kiln. While walking around the table she noticed there was a girl painting with water colors in the other end of the room. Kylie walked up behind her, careful not to make a sound so she wouldn’t distract the girl. She was painting a gorgeous sunset, complete with clouds and birds. “It’s really pretty.” Kylie said quietly. She quickly walked back to her flower and put it in the kiln to harden. “I’m Kylie by the way, most people call me Kye or Kole though. What’s your name?" she asked the artist of the sunset painting.

angie nearly jumped up in surprise at the sound of another girl's voice erupting from behind her, yet angelyn kept calm, screaming at herself in her head not to look so terrified and surprised that a student actually came up to compliment her work. besides, that was what being an artist was all about; showing off your art work and having others enjoy them. that was what the girl was doing and angie shouldn't have looked startled. unsuccessfully, she failed to do so and instead whirled her head around to look at the girl.
she too was an amazing artist despite the fact that angie had only caught a glimpse of her work. it was a rose carved out of clay. clay was a wonderful medium, yet sometimes angie had the tendency to suck the water out of the clumpy mud, making the clay crumbly and more like dirt than actual clay. thus, she stuck to water color where sucking water out of paint was a good thing from time to time. "uhh thanks!" angelyn replied, pausing only to search for words of gratitude. a quick thanks seemed to be appropriate at the time. "i'm angelyn, but most people call me angie." she said with a smile, extending her hand toward the other girl. her fear immediately faded, melting into the friendliness of the girl in front of her. glancing into the kiln, angie smiled as she watched the rose sculpture sparkle and glow in the fire. it looked beautiful. "your rose looks amazing too! it's clay right?" she inquired, dark brown eyes glancing back up at the taller girl. she cocked her head a bit, trying to guess if she had been doing the same as angie had been doing: using their powers to help them a bit when it came to art. she could possibly manipulate earth. there were a lot of manipulators at the school. then again, she could just be an ordinary artist who loved to use clay. words;; three four zero !tag;; kylie nicole scott !muse;; bleh. comments;; sorry its so short D:[/blockquote]

I'm in love with a fairytale even though it hurts 'Cause I don't care if I lose my mind I'm already cursed - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Kylie smiled at the girl when she jumped, “Sorry, I shouldn’t have crept up on you like that.” She said as she blushed, she should have known better than to creep up on someone and expect them not to freak out. “I really do like your painting though, it’s beautiful.” Kylie knew how much patience and artistic talent it took to make such a work of art. Patience was one of the things she needed to work at; she hated waiting for something… well anything really, which was one of the reasons she couldn’t be a painter. Well that and whenever she wanted to express her feelings she was better at using her hands, (and powers) rather than paint brushes and pencils. Kylie smiled, “No Problem.” She said after she heard the girl say a quick thanks. “I’m Kylie, but most people call me Kye… or Kole. I like both.” She said not bothering to tell Angie her middle name. Kylie shook her hand, and sensed the girl’s friendliness. She had only met two other kids here, and they hated each other. At least Angie seemed to be like her in some ways.
Kylie smiled as Angie complimented her master piece, “Thank you!” she said not wanting to be rude, “It is, I love working with clay!” Kylie answered referring to the clay. She observed the shorter girl staring at her, like she was trying to read her mind or something. For all she knew she could be, after all this was a school for the ‘gifted’.
