YOU CAN BE MY BAD BOY NOW - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - In all reality, the day hadn't started as he was wanting it to. He had planned to go for an early morning flight, but he'd over slept, and unfortunately would now have to go flying while everyone else was out. Perfect. Luckily it was still an odd time so he wouldn't need to worry about anything, plus - he was heading to art class. A class he could live with, he could paint with oil and acrylic paints all right, but that was pretty much it. Ruffling his blonde hair, he then grabbed a shower and after he was dressed, he pulled on a shirt that already had pre-cut holes in it for his wings, and took a light jacket with him, since it was starting to cool off already, plus he didn't want to walk around with his wings out all the time, and if he didn't, he didn't want obnoxious holes on his back to draw any more attention. Stretching, he flinched slightly as the pain sprouted along his back and shoulder muscles, as the silvery-white wings appeared. Setting the jacket on his arm, he grabbed his back pack and slung it on, before hopping up onto his window, having fully dressed within a matter of minutes, and unhinged his massive wingspan wings. Grinning down towards the people he saw on the ground, he jumped off, diving towards the ground. The 6-foot male unhinged them fully at the perfect time to catch a wind gust, lifting himself up and back onto the school, easily getting to the art room within a matter of less than a minute, rather than 5 or so to walk inside. Besides, flying for him was nice, and unfortunately it sometimes burned tons of calories.
Landing on the window, he sauntered in casually, noticing a girl already there and painting. Curiously, as he pulled out a pastry, thankfully he could eat what-ever he wanted and not gain any weight. Stretching himself slightly while he ate the pastry, having two apples in his backpack two, the blonde-haired male folded up his wings neatly and pulled on his jacket, the wings shrinking and disappearing completely. As he got his canvas, he was remaking a Dali painting, the Disintegration of Time, he was about done with it, and was quite proud of the master piece. Hands smoothly moved, before he took off his jacket, setting it aside as to not get paint on it, keeping his plain grey t-shirt on, with the two holes where his wings appeared from there - blatantly obvious. Pausing, curious, he headed towards where the other person was, the girl. Ok, he hovered, his bird-like sight allowing him to easily see what she was doing from where he was. Nodding in silent approval, he mused solemnly, hearing her inquiry, "You're not missing anything. You have everything in it as far as I can tell."
he grinned lightly, before offering her his hand, always up with his manners and some formality, "The name's Acker...Caleb Acker." [/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: TAGGED: summer <3 WORDS: idk xD OUTFIT: coming soon LYRICS: Bady boy by Cascada CREDIT: RETRO GLAMOUR ! @ CAUTION 2.0

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -BE MY WEEKEND LOVER BUT DON'T BE MY FRIEND. BE MY BAD BOY, DON'T BE MY FRIEND. YOU CAN BE MY BAD BOY NOW - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Leaning against a chair calmly, the male tilted his head as he looked to this girl's painting. Well - he'd give her credit for it, it was nicely done, considering it was water color. He couldn't do that to save his life, oil and arcrylics were the way to go for him. Pausing slightly, Caleb approached her and her painting, allowing his eyes sight to zoom in on it, so to speak, and check out the colors and the blending she had done. "Nice blending, not too, bam! a smack in the face, it just eases into it."
he took a step back, and looked to her as she mentioned it didn't look the same as it did in her mind. "I understand that. Try it again if you'd like. But...that's the curse of being an artist sometimes, what's in your head, you can never truly put down to reality." Seeing her smile, as their hands connected, the avian-bred male nodded slightly, allowing a polite grin to appear on his lips, as he bowed his head politely towards the girl, her last name registering in his head, though he didn't mention it. She probably got enough of that, "oh em gee! you're the headmistress's daughter?" No, he wasn't into that that much...since he sometimes got it with his father's name too, Patrick Acker, fun name right? He still wasn't sure why the hell they gave him the middle name Keegan, what kind of name was that? Refusing to drift into deeper thought, Caleb responded, after shaking her hand gently, "Pleasure to meet you, Aubrey. Do you happen to be new here?" he had to ask. He didn't recognize her at all, her face or the smell with his senses. Hardly realizing she had looked at his painting, he turned back to it, and approached his own painting, quickly painting a black mark on the bottom right with the initial of his first name and his last name all scrunched together. He nodded and turned back to her, both hands in the front pockets of his jeans, "Well...thank you. Arcrylic paints, but I give you extra credit for water colors, am I right?" He turned, he adored Salvador Dali, Picasso was good too, but he liked Dali because he wasn't quite as out there as Picasso had been. Who else did he like, well he liked the cultural stuff, Aristotle and Beethoven, and some more, but those were it. The new stuff was ok too, but they all burrowed ideas from the other guys. Turning back to Aubrey, he inquired, "So what year are you?" [/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: TAGGED: summer <3 WORDS: idk xD OUTFIT: coming soon LYRICS: Bady boy by Cascada CREDIT: RETRO GLAMOUR ! @ CAUTION 2.0

Aubrey became very proud of her painting how she loved watercolors. and the pride of painting such beauty always pleases her especial when someone else loves art as much as she does. He complemented her blending, oh how light it is. " In truth it took me four years to prefect my blending." She responded. She has so much time on her hands when she was growing up. Her mother never visited her and her nanny home schooled her for a little while. Going back to the conversation, "Yes one of the most aggregative let downs of being an artist." Aubrey replied. She let down her brush as she moves the painting down flat on the drying table, so the watercolors don't slip down the canvas. She returns to the guy.
"Yes I'm new to the school, This is actually my first day." She showed no emotions, and she had no aura. Which is actually really bad because it means your dead but for an aura reader like Aubrey it means putting up your walls. Aubrey didn't know this guys power the only think she knew is that he liked art and he didn't freak out when she said her name was Aubrey Sterling. Caleb thanked Aubrey for her compliment, yet he insisted on giving her extra credit for watercolors. She nodded showing a friendly smile. Her picture was a girl standing my the mighty ocean, the sun was setting and the colors of the sky where at there peak. But the most mystical thing in the picture is the girl for around the dark shadow of her body a light pink rose surrounds her body. Showing the faint light of being in love. So much time, sweat, and memories where placed in that picture. The most funny thing is that she is the only one that really knows.
Awakinging from her thoughts she caught caleb asking her what year she is. "Junior, you?" She asked.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -BE MY WEEKEND LOVER BUT DON'T BE MY FRIEND. BE MY BAD BOY, DON'T BE MY FRIEND. YOU CAN BE MY BAD BOY NOW - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A small smirk glided over her lips when she said four years. That was it? Curiously, he eyed her then mused, "Only four?"
he winked a blue eye at her, teasingly, "It seems like you've been doing this for more than that amount of time." he shrugged gently, straightening his frame, before noticing another few students enter the art room. He definitely wasn't going to stretch his wings now. He liked to have more...privacy, so to speak when he did that. He sat down on a stool near her so he could stay in the conversation, since this particular assignment for this class wasn't due for awhile. Well, in another week. Which meant he just now freed up his schedule in this class. Grinning sheepishly at that thought, the blonde ruffled his blonde hair slightly, though paused, dropping his hand when she mentioned she was new here. Both brows raised curiously, and he grinned coyly, almost deviously one could say, but he'd never admit it. "Oh really?" he winked, "Do you know your way around? Even if you do somewhat...I'd be glad to help you out. Give me a reason to talk to you more, and to be late to class." He grinned innocently, as if trying to explain in a smile why he didn't want to go to class. Because plainly, the next class he had was super boring to him, he already knew anatomy and such. Of course he should, he had to learn about how his body worked and all that junk, especially to learn about his hollow, really strong bones, his heavy muscle mass and his weird chest cavity. Not that he didn't mind it, it gave him extra running time on the ground, and his lungs were adapt to allow him to easily breathe while high in the air. About as high as Mount Everest for a few minutes even if he wanted to go that high. The thing being that high was that it got really cold, so he tended to stay down where he knew he'd be all right without freezing. At her inquiry about his grade, having told him she was a junior, he nodded lightly, "Yeah, junior here too." he grinned uneasily, before looking to the girl in her painting, and tilted his head gently. It was a nice painting, "You going to put it in the art show or anything when it comes around?" He inquired, eying Aubrey quietly, before then glancing around to the other students' works. They weren't too bad, someone was doing abstract, one of his least favorite types of painting. Wrinkling his nose, Caleb turned back to Aubrey quietly. She had a lot of time on her hands. I know very short amount of time, i'm just a quick learner. She said with a smile. A few students walked into the art room, Aubrey saw caleb tense up a little. They students looked like they where in focous into painting which amused Aubrey for some looked funny when something didn't go right. Caleb moved from a standing up to a stoll, proboably cause his feet where getting tierd. It didn't bother aubrey. Caleb commented on her being new to the school. Suddenly his aura turned into clear red, the color meaning powerful, energetic, competitive, sexual, or passionate. Then Caleb winked, Aubrey couldn't tell if it was a teasing wink or he ment it. But it did worry her, she doesn't even know his power. She could be walking into a trap for all that she knows. If anything they guy is proboably a huge flirt a player some call. Aubrey ignored the little voice, if Caleb would try anything or do anything she could always kick the Caleb in the you know what place and run. Aubrey is a very fast runner, her father was a runner.
Breaking from her deep thought, she looked at the clock that was right behind Caleb, it read one twienty-two. "Okay ill take your offer, I have only seen the offices." Aburey replied, the worry feeling still hung around Aubrey. Aubrey saw a map the other day of the school, it was huge. Rooms everywhere, and secret entryways. Thank goodness she didn't get her class list today that would mean going to her classes. And Aubrey wants to see the school some more before she gets loaded with homework. Caleb mentioned that he was also a junior, maybe they have some classes togather who knows. Aubrey turned away fro Caleb for a moment to put away her paints before they got hard. Right when she packed her watercolors caleb asked about her painting being in a contest. "Well i don't know. I would love too." She replied with a bright smile. She finished putting her things away, when she asked. "If you don't mind me asking whats your gift?" Aubrey used air quotes around the word gift.

YOU CAN BE MY BAD BOY NOW - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Caleb stretched his legs gently on the chair, he always had tons of energy. It wasn't very easy to get rid of it except by flying for awhile, and even then he still had a lot of it. Sighing softly, he needed to go for a good flight today, maybe go around Houston or something, in the clouds of course, then again he changed his mind. There were always tons of planes in Houston, maybe just around here for awhile. Ah, the curse of having his high metabolism. Now that he'd finished off the pastry, he produced the Fuji apple from his bag, paused then held up the other one for Aubrey, "Would you like a Fuji apple?"
he grinned lightly, letting her know he didn't mind if she wanted to accept it or not. Either way was fine with him, it's not like he was suffering with money or anything anyway. Hearing her mention being a quick learner, he chuckled lightly and nodded. He was too, though his long-term memory wasn't too bad, his short-term varied depending on what subject it was. Put him into History or English, he was perfectly fine. Pausing slightly, Caleb watched her carefully, noting every movement his sensitive eyes caught. It was fun to freak people out when he noticed simple things as how many times they blinked, or when they breathed since he could tell. She accepted his offer on a tour of her classes, and a light grin appeared on his lips. "Excellent." he hopped off the chair smoothly and headed to his painting quickly, moving with eloquent speed putting all the paints and brushes away before setting his painting in the back, where he set most of them. He once put some outside to dry faster, plus he liked how the sun affected the paints, unfortunately the night he did that it had rained, and guess what happened...the paintings were destroyed, so he just tended to keep them inside and let them dry through the windows, or just let them dry on the easel for the night. Eying Aubrey quietly he mused, "Where's your next class? I can show you short-cuts." he grinned coyly. Sauntering back to her, Caleb heard her mention about not knowing for the contest. He shrugged, "Just a thought." he then fell silent though, when she asked about his gift, using quote marks around it. Frowning slightly at that motion, he didn't say anything, but then looked around, "I can show you easier than I can tell you." Upon finding something moderately sharp, Caleb grabbed the can opener they sometimes used for larger paint cans to fill the smaller ones. Tilting his head, he turned back to Aubrey, before slicing his finger open. Looking down at it, he let the wound heal rapidly, and he cleaned up the tool silently, looking to Aubrey, before gesturing towards the window, "Did you see me come in or no?" he grinned sheepishly, "I can fly....but..." he thought for a brief moment, before shrugging off his light jacket, and turned his back to her, letting her see the two holes in his shirt, revealing that obviously - hopefully she'd get the wing part. If she didn't, he wouldn't mind showing her, it was just the touching part he didn't like it when people did that. Eying her silently, he turned back to fully face her, putting his jacket over his arm and inquired, "What about your power?" [/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: TAGGED: summer <3 WORDS: unknown - enough. xD OUTFIT: coming soon LYRICS: Bady boy by Cascada CREDIT: RETRO GLAMOUR ! @ CAUTION 2.0

Aubrey was used to people staring at her but she had no idea why he was. Aubrey could tell that he had a problem to stay still, cause he kept moving around and what not. He finished his pastry, you would think he would have been full but no he pulls two apples. He hands one to Aubrey asking if she would like one. Aubrey's stomach growled, she had some cereal early this morning like three thats when her plan left. She smiled and nodded. She took the apple in her hands, the coolness of the apple seeped into her hands. She rubbed the apple against her clothes to clean it. When she was done she took a big bite out of the apple. Its been along time since she ate a crisp apple. She loved it.
Caleb was happy that Aubrey excepted his invite. Aubrey pasted on a smile but still in the back of her mind a little voice was telling her that something was wrong here, no guy would be so nice even if she was the headmistress's only daughter. She shock of the feeling again as she replied to his question. "They still need to give me my class schedule i know that i have AP genetics with Mr. Hamleto and Elizabethan English with Miss. Crestaon." She explained. Aubrey was kinda happy not to have a list yet, she gets a day to do anything she wants without the thought or working or homework. Aubrey asked about his gift, when Caleb responded he seemed mad almost that she brought it up. "If its not right to ask people I'm sorry, I'm just intrigued to know your power." She spoke as Caleb took an opener, he stabbed it in his skin. Within seconds his skin heals showing nothing that was once blood only new skin that re patched the wound. He than asked her if she saw him fly in, truthfully she didn't she was to into her painting. she shock her head motioning a no. He told her he could fly, that shocked her she was thinking more of fire bender or something like that but flying that impressed her. He turned around to show her two slips in the back of his shirt. With wide eyes looked carefully at the slips inside she could barley see some white feathers. She remained in the same place not getting closer nor backing away. She was like frozen in place. "So you are have wings?" She asked very softly, she added "Thats better than mine in like a long shot." She told him. Suddenly they where the only two people in the art room, She didn't notice the other students leaving which is strange cause usually she catches those things. "I'm an aura reader." She spoke. Her voice seemed really loud to her but she was speaking with the same loudness scale as before. She knew that Caleb probably didn't know what a Aura Reader is, cause frankly she is the only student that has this power, they never seen anything like it. She folded her arms waiting for a reply.

YOU CAN BE MY BAD BOY NOW - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Seeing Aubrey's eyes on the vanishing sight of his pastry, as well as the two apples he'd produced, he threw her a sheepish grin. Blue eyes watched hers curiously, as if trying to figure out what was going on in her head. Dammit, why couldn't he have a power like telepathy? That would be so nice to be able to hear what others were thinking. But no, he just had his wings and his healing factor. His mother had mentioned if his healing factor got any more powerful...then he'd stop aging. That was a depressing though. Wrinkling his nose, the blonde ruffled his hair as she wiped the apple on her shirt. Did she not think he'd washed it? Keeping that thought to himself, he then perked when she mentioned two classes, and he grinned before musing, "Cool, I have AP Genetics too."
he grinned. See, he had been curious with genetics because his mother was a geneticist, and plus, she had been the one who claimed - or so he had heard - that she grafted the avian DNA into his body, and because of his natural healing ability, his body adapted it and turned it into his favor. Whether or not that rumor was true, he didn't really want to confront his mother about that - at least not till he was older. Course, the moment Aubrey spoke again, he yanked himself out of his thoughts, not wanting to appear rude at all. Tilting his head slightly, he then heard her mention about his wings, and a soft growl rippled from his chest. Well...it was some-what like a growl, something raptors or avians could do. He hesitated then responded, "Yes...and no one but me can touch them." he enforced that right then and there, before hearing her mention it was better than her power. Well...if you wanted to think of it that way. Personally he thought everyone had their specific power for a reason. Why some had healing, others couldn't heal themselves, but others. Or emitted poison through touch, changed their shape, controlled others' minds, everything and anything. He allowed a weak, half smile to appear on his lips for a brief moment before letting it fade. Damn his attention span. Aubrey said her power, an aura reader. Caleb nodded slightly, "Oh...that's neat." curiosity peaked, "What does mine say right now to you?" he grinned coyly, curious to see if his aura would match how he was feeling, or thinking - what-ever the case may be. Especially genetics, its such a hard class. Its ironic how they try to teach you about normal human genetics when ever student in the class has some mutant change in their DNA. It will be interesting to see if Aubrey can figure out what happened with her genetics, to see what happened that made her like she is. And maybe a way to reverse it. But what a stupid idea from a junior not even the top scientists know what happened to any of these students, its all a mystery. The topic changed to his wings, She could tell he was very sensitive around them. She knew that because he cut her off right when she was talking. Aubrey knew he didn't mean it. He just wanted to get his point across. Aubrey told him her gift, she was surprised that he knew what an aura was. Most people don't know what an Aura is, and she assumed he didn't as well. He asked what his aura was, Aubrey was worried to reply. In the past when she told people what there Aura is they get mad or hurtful saying that they aren't feeling that but they really are, its called denial. "I'll only tell you if you promise not to freak out." She waited to see his reply. She turned to look out side, the sun was shining against her skin. She turned back to him, She stared right at him. Within a second she got his aura. "Your aura is a Clear Red with flakes of blue towards your back. Do you wanna know that that means?" She asked. The red didn't surprise her but the blue did. The dark blue a symbol of protection, or fear.

Score! he thought silently to himself, thankful that Aubrey couldn't read his thoughts. That he knew, would get annoying - and very fast too. Wrinkling his nose at this thought, the blonde hovered near Aubrey politely, though he was intent on keeping his back as far from her hands as possible. The thought of someone touching his back, or his wings for that matter, he then mused, "For the auras...how much of it do you see? Like...tons of the color or just...a light ring around a person?"
that he was curious about, his brother being into the spirit stuff and all that, mainly because he, his brother could see spirits, he was a Summoner after all. Crossing his arms in front of his chest, he arched an eyebrow when she responded after he'd ask, saying as long as he promised not to freak out. He nodded solemnly, "I promise." blue eyes watched hers quietly, curiously. It was interesting to think of just what she might be able to do with her power, maybe it could border on empathy in the future, where she could start to control another person's feelings. Now that he could see happening, but he wasn't sure. Tilting his head gently, the blonde then shifted, as he tossed his jacket over his shoulder, getting sick of holding it in his hand. Following her look outside, Caleb didn't see anything, a bird or anything for that matter, but he didn't say one word. Maybe it dealt with her power, either way, he didn't know how her power worked, she did of course. At her words, he nodded intently, listening to what she said. A clear red? Then blue on his back? Frowning, eyes darkened slightly as he glanced over his shoulder, feeling his muscles twitch. He always had nightmares about people taking people like him, even other mutants or what-ever, gifted teens. Ones like him, or even Aubrey, ones they could find a way to get their DNA to splice so they could put them into other embryos or something. His nightmares never ended well - he always ended up in a cell. Shaking that thought off, he then nodded quietly, "What do they both mean?" the knot in his stomach told him he was probably going to regret that, asking for both of them. But he just wanted to know, his curiosity wasn't going to let him get away with nothing that easily. It went in without a problem. Aubrey finished hers as well, which she got an idea. Aubrey backed up to the window, so there was about a 20 feet distance from the waste basket. She asked, "Do you think I'll get it in?" Aubrey tossed the apple core, it flipped through the air. It landed straight in the waste basket no backboard no nothing. A huge smile appeared on her face. She leaned against the ledge. "It matters on the person, sometimes its a thick cloud other times its a thin line of color." She smiled back, she liked being asked about her power. It made her feel like she is worth something. Aubrey could tell that Caleb was really thinking through this. He asked her what the colors mean, Aubrey replied."The clear red means that you are having feelings that reflect a powerful, energetic, competitive, sexual, or passionate emotion. The blue that I can see forming where your wings are, That dark blue is a meaning of fear or protection. I believe you are afraid of me touching your wings. For every time i move you pull your back so its easily out of reach." She stopped giving him a moment to take this all in. Aubrey didn't want to sound rude or anything she was just pointing out the obvious, even though she has no advance eye sight or anything like that she can still observe people even when they don't even notice. Suddenly Aubrey's cell beeped. She looked at the text message to see it was from her mother. She wanted to see her, And now she want's to see me. Aubrey said to herself. She looked back at caleb, "It was really nice to meet you, but my mother calls." She spoke as she rolled her eyes, as if irritated.

Indifference waved over him like a wave, but in all honesty, he really just didn't care. His attention span was flickering, plus there wasn't that initial feeling anymore, it was fading and rather quickly. Who knows. Shrugging those thoughts away, the blonde watched the apple, remaining silent before she mentioned about it with sometimes it depended on the person whether it was a bunch of the color, like a cloud, or just a thin line. "Does the difference mean anything? Like maybe the person's more emotional than others or something?"
his voice was calm, smooth, as he reached into his pocket, feeling his phone vibrate. Checking it, he ruffled his blonde hair, another girl was texting him, asking if he wanted to get some lunch with her. Eying Aubrey, he probably could if Aubrey didn't have any plans. A look of contemplation and brooding fell on his features when Aubrey mentioned about the definition of his aura to her. It made him curious as to how she had figured the colors out, but probably just by asking people and such. Keeping his trap shut, the blonde listened intently to what she had to say. A sly grin fell on his features when she mentioned what the red stood for. She'd probably need to get used to seeing him with a red aura then. Though it quickly faded the moment she mentioned his back, and that he was afraid of her touching his wings. A scowl painted itself over his features, he had had nightmares about people in his past, the nightmares that plagued because his own mother wanted to make her son a more powerful - mutant or what-ever the hell he was. Biting his tongue to keep a smart response back, Caleb inhaled slowly, filling up his chest cavity with a large amount of oxygen before slowly releasing it, and responded, normally gentle eyes now dark, "No one touches my wings..." a low growl rippled from his lips. Feeling a slight shiver run down his back, Caleb ignored it. His wings were a sensitive part for him, he loathed the thought of someone attempting to touch them and in turn hurting them including him. It was like a dog's tail, he compared them to, since they were attached to his body, though just not an extension of his spine. As her phone vibrated, Caleb nodded, holding onto his jacket before rolling his shoulders, and soon, large, 16-foot wings sprouted from his back. They were a silvery-white with streaks of a darker color in them, a light brown. Eying her quietly, Caleb mused, handing her his number, "Enjoy your time. Here's my number." he winked, folding up his wings, needing to get to his next class soon. "I'm free for lunch if you don't have plans. Just let me know." [/blockquote][/blockquote] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: finished!
