Something i didn't see (ARABELA ; OPEN)

Bela popped a piece of gum in her mouth. Chewed it. Then blew it and popped. She didn't know what to do today, but she heard there was a festival in Town Square. She wasn't really a girl for parties. But being bored, she had to do something, she couldn't stay alone, doing nothing. It could possibly kill her. She stood up, and began her walk to the Town Square. It was in the city, of the Southlake Texas. Where she lived. It was a pretty boring place, but still. Today was a festival. Maybe it would be good today.

The Festival looked big today, for she could see it even when she was about 500 inches away. As she walked closer, she began to blend in with the crowd. But she could never blend in, she had a power that she didn't like. It could do stuff for her, but not for her brother who died very young. Bela could swear he was like watching over her or something. Then it came to her.

Someone is here. It whispered to her. And as simple as that, a boy appeared. He looked familiar. Maybe from Walker's. Yup. It was Nicky. No Nyck. That was his name. Spelled weirdly. But Arabela was in no place to judge. For her name was as fucked up. Beautiful Lion. Lion. Tella. Who Named a kid that.

She simply smiled at him. He was good looking, but Bela wasn't all that interested. Plus his smile, and blue eyes. Did catch her. A Lot.

" Yeah. How About You? " she asked him.

It was weird. Instantly Nyck asked her if she wanted to go on a walk. Sure it was crowded. But Bela barely knew him. Or even his power. Bela had to be careful on who she was around, even though she could shield herself from harm. Bela closed her eyes for a second, and activated her shield. Just in case. She couldn't be too careful. Because believe it or not, she was actually fond of her life. She didn't have any offensive powers, so she couldn't really harm him. A kick in the private space might do it. But for all she knew he could possibly shield also. Right when she was about to reply. He winked and smiled. But it didn't look like it was at her. She turned around to see a few girls behind her, giggling.

" Wow. " she muttered under her breath. Bela wasn't interested in dudes who would hit on her, then the exact second after hit on a few more girls. He asked her when she got her nose pierced. When she was about to reply. The voice came back.
Watch out, sis. He's dangerous. Trust Me. " Bela shook her head , trying to get the voice out.

" Do You want to go on a walk with me? Or Them? " she said to him. Flashing a smile that was angry, but curious at the same time. But then attractive.
" A few years ago. " she told him. Crossing her arms waiting for his reply.

That Smile. His Eyes. Ugh ! she thought to herself. He was a player. And nothing more. But he was good looking, more good lucking then she had ever known. But still Bela didn't want to get caught up in shit. This Young. She didn't want to be in love. This Young. A simple crush and a date would do. But she never learned how to pronounce the ' L ' word. She didn't love anyone. Except her older brother. They were the best of friends when they were younger. Every time Bela thought of that, she beat herself up for not being able to save her. But she had to get rid of the thought. She had to live her life. Or else her brother would possibly take it over.
Sis, Don't think about it. it whispered softly into her ear. She shrugged off the thoughts, smiled and looked directly at Nyck. She came closer to him, grabbed his hand, and her smiled became even wider.
" How bout that walk now? " she said to him. She wanted to take the walk with him. She had to live, she couldn't stay inside a shell, and let her brother take control over her any longer. She just longed to be free.
